Raspberry extract
Raspberry extract (RUBUS IDAEUS FRUIT EXTRACT) is an ingredient of plant origin obtained from the pulp of the raspberry fruit. It acts as an astringent and exfoliant in cosmetic formulations.
Roles & functions
Skin conditioning — Keeps the skin in good condition and protects it; improves its comfort.
Hair conditioning — Improves the appearance, softness and manageability of the hair.
Astringent — Temporarily tightens the skin or the pores.
Exfoliating — Helps remove dead cells from the surface of the skin.
