Sweet cherry seed oil
Sweet cherry oil (PRUNUS AVIUM SEED OIL) is a vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the sweet cherry tree. It acts as an emollient and emulsifier in cosmetic formulations.
Roles & functions
Skin conditioning — Keeps the skin in good condition and protects it; improves its comfort.
Emollient — Softens and smooths the skin while limiting water loss.
Emulsifying — Allows phases that do not naturally mix, such as water and oil, to be blended together.
