Pantothenic acid
Pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B5, is an ingredient of plant, synthetic, or animal origin. It plays a role in skin and hair care, and has an antistatic function in cosmetic formulations.

Skin conditioning — Keeps the skin in good condition and protects it; improves its comfort.
Hair conditioning — Improves the appearance, softness and manageability of the hair.
Antistatic — Reduces static electricity, particularly on the hair.
