ETHYLENEDIAMINE/METHYL ACRYLATE DENDRIMER
Synthetic polymer obtained through chemical synthesis, composed of branched molecules (dendrimers) based on ethylenediamine and methyl acrylate. It fulfills several roles in cosmetic formulations: antioxidant, emulsifier, and binder, while being used in skincare and haircare products.
Roles & functions
Skin conditioning — Keeps the skin in good condition and protects it; improves its comfort.
Hair conditioning — Improves the appearance, softness and manageability of the hair.
Antioxidant — Limits oxidation and helps preserve the formula over time.
Emulsifying — Allows phases that do not naturally mix, such as water and oil, to be blended together.
Binding — Binds together the ingredients of a solid formula (powder, stick).
