Decyl Glucoside is a plant-derived surfactant obtained by synthesis from glucose and decyl alcohol. It acts as an emulsifier and surfactant in cosmetic formulations, allowing incompatible ingredients to be mixed and reducing surface tension. It is also used as a fragrance ingredient.
