Bis-ethylhexyl azelate
Synthetic ingredient derived from azelaic acid. It fulfills several roles in cosmetic formulations: emollient to soften the texture, humectant to retain moisture, film-forming agent to form a film on the surface, and emulsifier to stabilize water-oil mixtures. It is used in skincare and hair care products.
