Yarrow oil
Achillea millefolium oil, or yarrow essential oil, is a plant-derived oil extracted from the yarrow plant. It plays several roles in cosmetic formulations: surfactant, fragrance, and is used in skin and hair care products.
Roles & functions
Skin conditioning — Keeps the skin in good condition and protects it; improves its comfort.
Hair conditioning — Improves the appearance, softness and manageability of the hair.
Perfuming — Adds a scent to the product or masks the odour of raw materials.
Surfactant — Lowers the tension between two surfaces; cleanses and helps remove impurities.
